Roles and permissions
The OWNER, ADMIN, and MEMBER roles that govern who can do what inside your organization — and the internal staff roles that never see your data by default.
Access inside FormBridge is role-based. When you form a company, you become the OWNER of its organization, and you can invite teammates at a lower level of access. Every server action checks the caller's role before it runs, so permissions aren't just a matter of what the interface shows.
The customer roles
- OWNER
- Full control of the organization. The founder who created the company. Can manage billing, invite and remove members, change roles, and exercise data rights like export and erasure.
- ADMIN
- Broad day-to-day access to run the back office — kick off agents, review filings, manage documents — without ownership-level control over the organization itself.
- MEMBER
- Standard access for a teammate who works inside the company but shouldn't manage the organization, its membership, or its billing.
The most consequential controls — exporting or erasing all company data — are reserved for the account owner. See your data rights for how those flows work.
Internal staff roles
FormBridge also has two internal roles used only by staff: OPS, for the operators who handle escalations and the licensed-partner handoffs, and SUPERADMIN, for platform administration. These are separate from your organization's roles — a customer account is never OPS or SUPERADMIN, and staff work through the ops console rather than inside your company by default.
