Using the Co-pilot
A chat that answers questions about your own company — its entity, banking, books, tax, and compliance — grounded in your real data.
The Co-pilot is a chat over your entire company context. Unlike a generic assistant, it can only see your organization's data — your entity details, filings, bank feed, monthly closes, tax packets, and compliance calendar — and it answers from that data, not from the open internet. Open it from the Co-pilot item in the dashboard sidebar.
What you can ask
- Your company facts — "What's my EIN?", "Which state is my LLC registered in?", "When was my entity filed?"
- Your money — "What were my biggest expenses last month?", "How much did I spend on software this quarter?" (grounded in your Bookkeeping autopilot data).
- Your obligations — "What compliance deadlines are coming up?", "Have I filed my BOI report?" (from your Compliance autopilot calendar).
- Status of the autopilots — "Where is my banking application?", "Did my EIN come through yet?"
- How things work — "What's the difference between a 5472 and an 1120?", explained in the context of your own entity.
Sending a message
- 1Type your question
Ask in plain language — English or Spanish. You don't need to name tables or use special syntax; the Co-pilot figures out which of your records are relevant.
- 2Send it
Press the send button, or use the Cmd/Ctrl + Enter keyboard shortcut to send without reaching for the mouse.
- 3Read the grounded answer
The reply is assembled from your data and carries citation chips that point back to the exact source rows. Hover a chip to see what it's citing.
The Co-pilot explains your data and how FormBridge works. It is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney or accountant. For anything the law reserves for a professional — a signed return, a legal opinion — FormBridge routes you to a licensed human partner.
Every answer is grounded in your records and cited — see how citations work. When a question needs more careful analysis, turn on deep reasoning.
