Your founder profile

Your founder profile is the context every autopilot reads before it acts. It's a short description of you and your business — what you do, who your customers are, where you're resident, and whether you hold a US SSN or ITIN. The agents use it on every run, so a current profile is the difference between a generic answer and a decision that fits your actual situation.

What the profile feeds

• Formation weighs your residency, customers, and fundraising plans when it recommends an entity and jurisdiction.
• EIN picks the submission channel — the IRS online application when the responsible party has a US SSN, otherwise the fax/mail path (the route for ITIN holders and non-residents).
• Payments tailors your Stripe, PayPal, or Square application to pass processor KYC for your profile.
• Co-pilot grounds its answers in who you are, so guidance is specific to your company rather than generic.

Editing your profile

   Open Settings

   Click Settings in the dashboard sidebar. Your founder profile and organization details live here.

   Update your details

   Edit what your business does, your customers, your residency, and your SSN/ITIN status, then save.

   Re-run anything that changed

   Because agents read the profile per run, new work reflects your update automatically. For a decision already made under old details, re-run that autopilot to refresh it.
