Your data rights
Export, correct, or erase everything FormBridge holds about you — GDPR rights honored for every customer, wherever you are, from Settings → Data rights.
The data in your FormBridge account belongs to you, and you can act on it directly. FormBridge honors the core GDPR data rights for every customer, regardless of where you live — not only those in the EU. You'll find all of these controls in the dashboard under Settings → Data rights.
What you can do
- Export everything (Articles 15 & 20)
- Download a complete, portable copy of everything FormBridge holds about you and your company — your access and portability rights in one file.
- Correct records (Article 16)
- Fix inaccurate personal details so your records stay right. Keeping your founder profile current also keeps the agents accurate.
- Erase everything (Article 17)
- Permanently remove your data. PII-bearing fields are tombstoned so they can no longer be read.
How erasure works
Erasure is deliberately hard to trigger by accident. To confirm, you type the literal word ERASE into the confirmation field — nothing less will start it. When it runs, personal-data fields are tombstoned so they can never be read again.
Once you confirm by typing ERASE, the personal data is gone and cannot be recovered. If you might want your records later, run an export first.
What's retained, and your receipt
Some records — parts of the append-only audit trail — must be retained to meet legal and statutory obligations even after erasure. Those rows are kept in a minimized form rather than deleted outright. To prove the erasure happened, FormBridge issues a SHA-256 receipt: a cryptographic record you can keep as evidence that your request was carried out.
This describes how the data-rights tools work; it isn't legal advice. For questions specific to your jurisdiction, consult qualified counsel.
